PINA COLADA BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
Start the day with a taste of the tropics. If you would prefer not to use protein powder, a handful of cashew nuts make a good substitute.

Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 handfuls frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 tbsp porridge oats
- 200ml-250ml coconut milk (from a carton, not a tin)
- 1 scoop vanilla or unflavoured protein powder optional
- to serve: a slice of fresh pineapple
Instructions

Combine the frozen banana and pineapple, oats, coconut milk and, if using, protein powder in a blender and blitz until smooth. You may find that if you are using the protein powder, you’ll require slightly more coconut milk.

Pour into a glass and top with a slice of fresh pineapple, if you like.
