SICHUAN MARGARITA

Servings 2 margaritas

Ingredients

  • 1/4-1/2 red chilli depending on how spicy you like it
  • 5 Sichuan peppercorns
  • 100 ml blanco tequila
  • 50 ml pineapple juice
  • 50 ml lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 30 ml agave

Instructions

  1. Muddle the chilli, sichuan peppercorns and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add the tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice and a handful of ice and shake until the outside of the shaker is ice cold.

  3. Strain between two glasses garnished with extra sichuan peppercorns and with a large ice cube, if you like.

Pair this Sichuan Margarita with my Cabbage Fritti for a lovely aperitivo time.
