Start the day with a taste of the tropics. If you would prefer not to use protein powder, a handful of cashew nuts make a good substitute.
Combine the frozen banana and pineapple, oats, coconut milk and, if using, protein powder in a blender and blitz until smooth. You may find that if you are using the protein powder, you’ll require slightly more coconut milk.
Pour into a glass and top with a slice of fresh pineapple, if you like.
